Sorry I've been a bit MIA this month ... yup ... the whole month has been GO, GO, GO.

At the beginning of the month Sean and I flew out to Thousand Oaks, California for a little under a week to watch Nate and his Aurora Spartan Men's Volleyball Team take on #7 University California Santa Cruz, Kean out of New Jersey, Baldwin Wallace out of Ohio and #5 California Lutheran. They guys went 4-0. It was so much fun to watch.
Sean and I had some downtime so went to a planetarium. If you look super closely you can see the Hollywood sign in the far distance. We enjoyed some delicious Mexican food and margaritas, took in an UCLA vs USC Men's D1 Volleyball Match and went and supported our Badger Softball team against UCLA. It was a great trip.
Sean flew home, and then I stayed and headed to Long Beach for the Stampin' Up! Onstage Convention with four of my besties. It was a great time staying in a VRBO and hanging out. Miss them!!
Unfortunately, Wisconsin was under a Blizzard Warning the Sunday I needed to fly home, so I was trapped overnight in the Denver Airport. I made it home on Monday, but with a horrible cold yet again. I worked on Tuesday and Wednesday at my full-time job and then was suppose to attend a retreat with friends on Thursday and Friday but stayed home to try and recoup and get better ... as you guessed it ... we were travelling again.
Unfortunately, Wisconsin was under a Blizzard Warning the Sunday I needed to fly home, so I was trapped overnight in the Denver Airport. I made it home on Monday, but with a horrible cold yet again. I worked on Tuesday and Wednesday at my full-time job and then was suppose to attend a retreat with friends on Thursday and Friday but stayed home to try and recoup and get better ... as you guessed it ... we were travelling again.
This time it was by car. What a great road trip it was. We headed to Pigeon Forge on Saturday for Morgan's Verona High School Softball Team's Spring Break trip. We stopped in Louisville, Kentucky on our way down so the girls could practice and split up the drive a bit. Then hit PF on Sunday. They had a scrimmage and two games while we were down there. We again rented a VRBO with four other couples and had a great time. Took in a Tennessee Softball Game, hit Dollywood, and just enjoyed some good ol' softball.
We love supporting our kids and sports has always been a HUGE part of our lives. We wouldn't change it for anything.
Last night was Morgan's last first season opener in Sun Prairie. Unfortunately, the girls lost a heartbreaker, 8-7 in a home run walk off. They will come back even stronger next Tuesday vs Middleton.
Tonight, Nate has his last regular season volleyball match vs Wisconsin Lutheran at Aurora. His second college season sure flew by fast. Hopefully we can win the NACC tournament and head back to the NCAA tournament like last year. Fingers Crossed.
