Create 20 Beautiful Scrapbook Pages with the Happiness Is Here Virtual Album Retreat (+ My FREE Album Bonus!)

One of my favorite things about scrapbooking is that it allows us to turn everyday moments into lasting treasures. πŸ’•πŸ“Έ

That’s exactly why I am so excited to share the 2026 Stampin’ Up! Happiness Is Here Virtual Album Retreat Kit with you today.

Imagine spending three days crafting from the comfort of your home while creating a gorgeous scrapbook album that celebrates your memories and milestones. That’s exactly what this three-day virtual scrapbooking retreat is designed to do.

The Happiness Is Here Virtual Album Retreat will take place April 29 through May 1, 2026, with daily live crafting sessions starting at 2:00 PM MT in a private Facebook group hosted by Stampin’ Up!

This retreat isn’t just about making scrapbook pages . . . it’s about learning new techniques, connecting with other crafters, and creating something meaningful you will treasure for years to come.

The retreat kit includes everything you need to create 10 beautiful scrapbook spreads (20 pages) full of creativity and inspiration.

Inside the kit you’ll find:

✨ The exclusive Happiness Is Here Stamp Set
✨ A coordinating Alphabet Stamp Set
Golden Glow Shimmer Brush for gorgeous accents
Exclusive Designer Series Paper
✨ Precut images and stickers
✨ Moody Palette Glossy Dots
✨ Linen Thread embellishments
✨ Flip Flaps for interactive pages
✨ Photo placeholders to help plan your layouts
✨ 12" x 12" Memory Protectors

Stampin’ Up! has truly thought of everything to make this retreat fun, creative, and stress-free.

One of the things I love most about this event is the community aspect. During the retreat you’ll be able to interact with other scrapbookers, ask questions during the live stream, and share your progress with fellow crafters from around the world.

Even if you can’t attend the live sessions, you’ll still have access to the downloadable instructions and replay videos, so you can complete your album at your own pace.

Whether you’re brand new to scrapbooking or a seasoned memory keeper, this retreat is a wonderful opportunity to slow down, get creative, and celebrate your memories through crafting.

Let's take a look at this awesome album in more detail . . .

Here are the awesome layouts ... 6 of the 10 are INTERACTIVE. How cool is that?

Layout 1 – Interactive Album Cover Idea ✨

Kicking things off with Layout 1 from the Happiness Is Here Virtual Album Retreat, and this one is extra special because it can actually double as the front and back cover of your album if you decide to split the pages. πŸ“ΈπŸ’•

I love when scrapbook layouts are both beautiful and functional, and this spread definitely delivers. The soft patterns and sweet details create the perfect backdrop for highlighting some of your favorite photos and memories.

On the left page, we added a fun interactive pull-out tag ✂️. This is such a great spot to tuck away journaling, extra photos, or little notes about the memory you’re documenting. Sometimes the stories behind the photos are just as important as the photos themselves.

Then on the right page, we stepped things up with a Flip-Flap interactive element. These are one of my favorite scrapbooking tools because they allow you to add more photos without cluttering your layout. Just lift the flap and voilΓ  . . . another memory waiting underneath. πŸ“–✨

This layout really sets the tone for the entire album with its clean design, interactive elements, and storytelling space. Whether you use it as your album cover, your closing page, or just a beautiful opening spread, it’s a wonderful way to begin documenting the memories inside.

Interactive layouts like this are one of my favorite ways to make scrapbooks feel alive and engaging, and they make flipping through your album even more fun.

Layout 2 – More Interactive Scrapbooking Fun ✨

Layout 2 from the Happiness Is Here Virtual Album Retreat is packed with interactive elements that make this spread both fun to create and exciting to flip through later. πŸ“Έ✂️

One of my favorite things about scrapbooking is finding creative ways to include more photos and more stories, and this layout does exactly that.

On the left page, we added pull-out tags tucked into the pockets. These are perfect for adding additional photos, journaling, or little details about the moment you’re documenting. I always say the little stories behind our pictures are what make albums so meaningful. πŸ’•

Then on the right page, we took things up a notch with a Flip-Flap waterfall element. This interactive piece allows you to layer multiple photos in one spot, and as you flip through them it feels like the story is unfolding right before your eyes. πŸ“–✨

I absolutely love how this layout gives you room to include lots of photos without making the page feel crowded. Plus, the interactive pieces make it extra fun for anyone flipping through your album later.

Layouts like this are such a great reminder that scrapbooks are meant to be experienced, not just looked at. Every tag you pull and every flap you flip reveals another memory waiting to be rediscovered.

Layout 3 – Double the Flips, Double the Memories ✨

Layout 3 from the Happiness Is Here Virtual Album Retreat is all about layering memories and telling a bigger story through interactive elements. πŸ“ΈπŸ’•

One of the things I love most about this spread is how it allows you to showcase multiple photos while still keeping the layout clean and balanced.

On the left page, we added a Flip-Flap interactive element that lets you tuck an additional photo or journaling underneath. Flip-Flaps are one of my favorite scrapbooking tricks because they give you more room for memories without overcrowding your layout. Just lift the flap and another moment appears. ✂️✨

Then on the right page, we added another Flip-Flap to continue the storytelling. This is perfect for adding extra photos, handwritten journaling, or even a little hidden memory you want to highlight.

I also love the beautiful floral paper and soft blue tones in this spread. They frame the photos so nicely and create a layout that feels calm, happy, and full of life . . . which fits perfectly with the theme “Together is the best place to be.” πŸ’™

Interactive layouts like this make albums so much more fun to look through later. Every time someone lifts a flap or uncovers a hidden photo, it feels like rediscovering the moment all over again.

Layout 4 – Lift the Banners for Hidden Memories ✨

Layout 4 from the Happiness Is Here Virtual Album Retreat might just be one of my favorite interactive spreads in this album. πŸ“ΈπŸ’• It’s sweet, playful, and packed with hidden photo space.

The left page features a beautiful banner-style design, but these aren’t just decorative banners . . . they’re interactive. ✂️ Each of the three banners lifts up to reveal six additional photos hidden underneath. I absolutely love clever little details like this because they let you include so many memories while still keeping the layout soft and uncluttered.

This is such a fun way to document a series of moments . . . like baby photos, family snapshots, or a timeline of memories . . . all tucked neatly behind the banners. When someone flips through your album and lifts each banner, it feels like uncovering little treasures from that moment in time. πŸ’•

The right page balances the spread beautifully with a couple of larger photos and space for journaling. This is where you can really tell the story behind the photos . . . the little details that make the memory even more meaningful.

I also love the soft colors and delicate patterns in this layout. They create such a calm and happy feel that perfectly matches the sentiment “making a beautiful life.”

Interactive pages like this are one of my favorite scrapbooking tricks because they make albums so much more engaging and fun to explore.

Layout 5 – Celebrate the Moment ✨

Layout 5 from the Happiness Is Here Virtual Album Retreat is a beautiful example of how a clean, non-interactive scrapbook layout can still make a huge impact. πŸ“ΈπŸ’•

This spread focuses on highlighting special moments and milestone memories, letting the photos truly shine while the patterned papers and soft embellishments frame everything perfectly.

I love how the layered hexagon shapes and delicate floral accents add texture and interest to the page without taking attention away from the photos. They create a gorgeous backdrop that keeps the layout feeling balanced and cohesive across both pages.

One of my favorite things about layouts like this is how they allow you to showcase multiple photos from the same event. Whether it’s a competition, celebration, family gathering, or proud moment, this design makes it easy to tell the full story while still keeping the page visually clean.

The journaling area also gives you a chance to capture the details behind the memory . . . the little things that might fade over time if we don’t write them down. Those notes often become the most meaningful part of an album years later. ✂️πŸ’•

Sometimes scrapbooking doesn’t need hidden flaps or pull-outs… sometimes a beautiful layout, great photos, and heartfelt journaling are all you need to tell the story.

Layout 6 – Let the Photos Tell the Story

Layout 6 from the Happiness Is Here Virtual Album Retreat is a perfect example of how a non-interactive scrapbook layout can still be incredibly powerful and beautiful. πŸ“ΈπŸ’•

This spread focuses on highlighting meaningful moments with a clean design that really allows the photos to shine. Sometimes the memories themselves are the star of the page, and this layout gives them the space they deserve.

I absolutely love the soft layered papers and the gorgeous floral accents framing the photos. They add just the right amount of texture and detail without overwhelming the page. The color palette feels calm, happy, and reflective — which fits perfectly with the sentiment “love this life.” πŸ’™

The combination of one larger photo and a couple supporting images makes this layout feel balanced and storytelling-driven. It’s a great way to capture a day spent together, a special outing, or those simple everyday moments that end up meaning the most.

Not every scrapbook page needs flip flaps or hidden elements. Sometimes the most meaningful layouts are the ones that simply let the photos, journaling, and memories speak for themselves.

And honestly… layouts like this are also wonderful when you want to scrap quickly but still create something beautiful and meaningful. ✂️✨

Layout 7 – Pull-Out Tags Full of Memories ✨

Layout 7 from the Happiness Is Here Virtual Album Retreat is such a fun and creative way to capture lots of little moments from everyday life. πŸ“ΈπŸ’•

This spread is all about celebrating “all the little things” . . . the snapshots, selfies, laughs, and quick memories that make up our days but sometimes don’t always make it into our albums.

What makes this layout extra special is the interactive pull-out tags on both the left and right pages. ✂️ Each tag slides right out of its pocket to reveal photos, journaling, or lists of favorite memories. It’s such a great way to include more photos without making the layout feel crowded.

I especially love using layouts like this when I have lots of small photos or random snapshots from different moments that I want to document together. Instead of spreading them across multiple pages, this design keeps everything organized while still feeling playful and interactive.

The pockets also make the perfect spot for things like:

πŸ“Έ Extra photos
πŸ“ Journaling or memory lists
πŸ’ Quotes or thoughts from the day
πŸ’• Little stories behind the pictures

Interactive layouts like this make albums so much more fun to explore because every tag you pull out reveals another memory waiting inside.

Layout 8 – A Page Straight from the Heart ✨

Layout 8 from the Happiness Is Here Virtual Album Retreat is such a sweet and heartfelt spread that truly celebrates the people who mean the most in our lives. πŸ’•πŸ“Έ

This layout may not be interactive, but it absolutely shines through its beautiful design and meaningful storytelling. The large heart-shaped background on the left page instantly draws your eye and perfectly represents the sentiment “my heart lives here.” It’s such a wonderful way to highlight photos of the people who fill your life with love.

I love how the layered papers and soft color palette create a warm and inviting feel, making the photos the true stars of the page. The mix of patterns adds just enough visual interest while still keeping everything clean and balanced.

On the right page, the layout continues with a lovely collage-style design that allows you to showcase several photos together while also leaving space for journaling. This is the perfect place to capture the story behind the photos . . . the little details about the people and moments that make them so special.

Layouts like this remind me why I love scrapbooking so much. It’s not just about creating something pretty . . . it’s about preserving the memories and relationships that matter most. ✂️πŸ’•

Sometimes the most powerful scrapbook pages are the ones that simply celebrate family, love, and the moments that make our hearts full.

Layout 9 – Best Day Ever ✨

Layout 9 from the Happiness Is Here Virtual Album Retreat is a perfect layout for documenting those big adventure days and unforgettable memories. πŸ“ΈπŸŒž

This spread combines beautiful layered design with a fun interactive feature that helps you include even more photos and storytelling space.

On the right page, we added two fold-out sections that open up to reveal additional photos and journaling. ✂️πŸ“– I absolutely love elements like this because they allow you to capture more moments from the day without making the page feel cluttered. When someone flips open those panels, they get to see even more memories hidden inside.

Interactive fold-outs like this are perfect for things like:

πŸŒ„ Travel adventures
πŸ₯Ύ Outdoor hikes or sightseeing
πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘©‍πŸ‘§‍πŸ‘¦ Family outings
πŸ“Έ Full-day events with lots of great photos

The left page balances the layout beautifully with layered photos and the bold “Best Day Ever!” title, which perfectly captures the feeling of those special days where everything just comes together.

Layouts like this are one of my favorite ways to scrapbook because they allow you to tell the full story of the day, not just showcase one or two photos.

Layout 10 – Smile… These Are the Moments ✨

Layout 10 from the Happiness Is Here Virtual Album Retreat is the perfect way to wrap up this beautiful album with a layout that highlights joyful moments and everyday memories. πŸ“ΈπŸ’™

This spread is a non-interactive layout, but it still tells such a wonderful story through its clean design and photo-focused composition.

I love how the grid-style photo arrangement on the left page allows you to include several pictures from the same outing or event. It’s a great way to capture the little snapshots from the day . . . the laughs, the scenery, and the candid moments that make the memory complete.

The right page balances everything beautifully with a couple of larger photos and a journaling block so you can record the story behind the pictures. Those little details are often the things we forget over time, so I always love having a spot to write them down.

The stars, playful patterns, and “SMILE” sentiment add such a fun and happy feel to the layout. It really captures the idea that scrapbooking isn’t just about documenting big milestones . . . it’s also about preserving the simple moments that make life special.

Layouts like this are wonderful when you want to showcase multiple photos while still keeping the design clean and easy to follow.

And honestly . . . sometimes a page full of smiles says everything you need to remember about the day. πŸ’•
