Close To My Herat's Stampers with Attitude Blog Hop -- Paper Fundamentals

Welcome to the March Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop -- Paper Fundamentals.

If you have come here from Denise's Blog,
you are on the right path.

I love the new Paper Fundamentals Basic Assortment (Z1939) found in

The hardest part of the whole card process
was choosing which of the 10 designs to use.

There are 20 double-sided 12" x 12" sheets (2 each of 10 designs).

They have the same design on both sides, but one side has glossy resist patterns.

I tried to capture the glossy patterned side on the above picture whereas the below picture shows the normal cardstock pattern.

I stamped the Thank You in Lagoon Ink and the Thank You sentiment in Cocoa Ink.

I then cut it out and added 3-D Foam Tape to the back to give it some dimension.

The stamped images are from Banner Wishes (B1438)

The best part of any card is the embellishing step.

I used the Lagoon Houndstooth Washi Tape (Z1850) and placed it on White Daisy Cardstock so it gave it a little more pop off of the cocoa Paper Fundamentals sheet.

Then I added the Teal Shimmer Trim (Z1918) which is awesome as it is already adhesive-backed.

I am totally addicted to the 6 colors of
Shimmer Trim that Close To My Heart carries.

And to complete the look. . .

I've been wanting to play with the White Marquee Enamel Shapes (Z1961) ever since I got them.

They added a little extra dimension to the card.

Hope you are enjoying the Paper Fundamentals Blog Hop.

Now "Hop" on over to Kim's Blog to see her work.
