Keeley's Kreations: Life in Bloom Layouts

There’s something incredibly satisfying about sitting down with a pile of coordinating scrapbook supplies and ending up with beautiful pages ready for your photos and memories. 🌸

For this week’s I Made This Myself Monday, I’m sharing the completed scrapbook layouts I made while playing with the Stampin’ Up! Life in Bloom Scrapbooking Workshop Kit (167862).

And yes . . . there are FOUR double-page layouts to see. ✂️📸

What Is the Life in Bloom Scrapbooking Workshop Kit?

The Life in Bloom Scrapbooking Workshop Kit is designed to create three coordinated 12" x 12" double-page scrapbook spreads.

Workshop Kits are wonderful if you love scrapbooking but don’t necessarily love spending hours trying to decide which papers, colors, and embellishments work together. They’re also a great introduction for someone who is brand new to scrapbooking.

The kit includes:

Step-by-step instructions
9 sheets of Designer Series Paper
5 sheets of Two-Tone Cardstock
1 sheet of White Willow Cardstock
3 sheets of printed stickers and precut images
Photo placeholders

The color palette is absolutely gorgeous: Basic Beige, Blackberry Bliss, Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake, Darling Duckling, Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lime Twist, and Pretty Peacock.

It’s bright and fresh without feeling overly themed, which means these scrapbook layouts could work beautifully with all kinds of photographs and memories.

Adding a Little Shimmer ✨

I also used Shimmering Dots (167949).

These little adhesive-backed embellishments come in Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, and white, and each one has metallic flecks that catch the light.

You receive 180 Shimmering Dots in 4 mm and 5 mm sizes, so there are plenty to play with.

It’s one of those tiny details that can make a surprisingly big difference on a scrapbook page. A few strategically placed embellishments add texture, dimension, and sparkle without overwhelming your photographs.

In this week’s video, I’m not creating the layouts from beginning to end. Instead, I’m sharing my completed artwork and taking you on a tour of each finished two-page spread. You’ll be able to see the papers, embellishments, layering, details, and the ways I personalized the original workshop designs.

Scrapbooking Made Easier . . .

It’s time to take a closer look at the first double-page scrapbook layout from the Stampin’ Up! Life in Bloom Scrapbooking Workshop Kit (167862). 💚💜

There is SO much I love about this one! The rich green background paired with Darling Duckling, Coastal Cabana, Blackberry Bliss and Basic Beige is such a fun combination. And can we talk about those gorgeous dimensional florals? 😍🌿

But look a little closer . . . 👀✨

I added some extra sparkle with the Shimmering Dots (167949) and I LOVE the way those tiny Coastal Cabana dots pop against the green! They’re small, but they add just the right finishing touch. 💎

This is one of the three double-page layouts included in the Life in Bloom Scrapbooking Workshop Kit, so the design work is already done for you. You get the step-by-step instructions, patterned papers, cardstock, stickers, precut pieces and photo placeholders to help you put it all together. ✂️📸

💬 What catches your eye first on Layout #1 — the greenery, the purple sparkle, or those adorable little flowers?

Time for another closer look at the Life in Bloom Scrapbooking Workshop Kit (167862) from Stampin’ Up! 🌸📸

Layout #2 might have one of my favorite color combinations in this workshop. That deep Pretty Peacock paired with Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, Blackberry Bliss and Darling Duckling is SO striking. 💚🩵💜💛

And there are so many little details to discover. 👀 The lattice-style accents tucked behind the photos add texture without overwhelming the page, while the florals bring those beautiful Life in Bloom colors together.

Of course, I had to add a little extra sparkle. ✨ I used the Shimmering Dots (167949) throughout the layout, and I love how the Granny Apple Green dots almost look like tiny dew drops among the flowers. 💚

The sentiments make this layout especially versatile, too:

We’ve made it to the third and final layout included in the Life in Bloom Scrapbooking Workshop Kit (167862) . . . and ohhhhh, this one is SO pretty. 😍

I absolutely LOVE the soft blue background on this layout. 🩵 It lets that gorgeous floral paper along the bottom be the star, while the layers of Blackberry Bliss, Granny Apple Green and Coastal Cabana pull everything together.

And can we talk about those green glimmer strips?! ✨💚 Just that little bit of sparkle running across both pages makes such a difference.

There are so many pretty details on this one . . .

🩵 Those fun lattice pieces tucked behind the embellishments

📸 Lots of room for photos
✍️ Journaling space for the stories behind those memories

Okayyyyy . . . THIS is the one I’ve been waiting to show you. 😍

The Life in Bloom Scrapbooking Workshop Kit (167862) includes three beautiful double-page layouts… but after finishing all three, I looked at everything I still had left and thought:

There is NO WAY I’m done with this kit yet. 😂✂️

So I challenged myself to create an entirely different BONUS double-page layout using the leftovers.

And look how much I was able to squeeze out of them. 👀

Instead of larger traditional photo groupings, I went with a fun grid-style design filled with 3" x 3" spaces. Some are ready for photos, while others became little pops of patterned paper, color, flowers and embellishments. 📸🌸

And because I was working with leftovers, I had to get a little creative. That might be my FAVORITE part. 💕

I mixed those little scraps of DSP throughout the grid, used remaining flowers and leaves to create small clusters, and even gave that gorgeous lily-of-the-valley piece a starring role instead of letting it sit unused in the package. 😍

There are so many little details tucked into this one:

🌿 Bits and pieces of leftover patterned paper
🌸 Remaining floral die cuts and embellishments
🩵 Little sentiment accents throughout
📸 LOTS of 3" x 3" photo opportunities
✨ Shimmering Dots (167949) for a little extra detail
💜 And plenty of white space so your PHOTOS will ultimately be the star.

And that sentiment . . .

“Friends become our chosen family.” 🥹💕

LOVE.
