Stampin’ Up! 2026 Virtual Card Retreat: Create 15 Cards & Craft Along October 1–2

Calling all card makers. ✂️💌 Stampin’ Up! is bringing crafters together for TWO creativity-filled days with the 2026 Virtual Card Retreat, happening October 1–2, 2026.

If you love the step-by-step crafting experience of Paper Pumpkin but are ready to take your card making to the next level, this retreat was designed for you. You’ll create 15 beautiful, unique, technique-focused handmade cards while crafting along virtually with Stampin’ Up! staff.

✂️ What Is the Virtual Card Retreat?

The Virtual Card Retreat is a two-day online crafting event celebrating creativity, card making, and community just in time for World Card Making Day on October 3.

The retreat takes place October 1–2, with crafting beginning at 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time each day and continuing for up to seven hours. You’ll learn new techniques, interact with Stampin’ Up! staff, and create alongside a community of fellow crafters.

And you don't have to worry if you can't watch everything live. The retreat will take place in a private Facebook group where you'll also have access to the on-demand videos. Step-by-step instructions and a preparation video will be posted in the group approximately two weeks before the event.

5 Elegant Handmade Cards Featuring Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper

Welcome back to another edition of I Made This Myself Monday.

Today I'm excited to share five finished handmade cards featuring one of my favorite paper collections from Stampin' Up! . . . the Beautiful Gallery 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper.

This paper truly lives up to its name. Inspired by classic artwork, it features rich landscapes, delicate florals, vintage textures, and sophisticated color palettes that instantly elevate any project. Every sheet feels like a miniature painting waiting to become part of a beautiful card.

To complement these artistic backgrounds, I paired them with the heartfelt Prayers & Promises Photopolymer Stamp Set. The encouraging sentiments make these cards perfect for sympathy, encouragement, thinking of you, and simply letting someone know they're loved.

I also incorporated the Stylish Shapes Dies, one of the most versatile die collections in my craft room. Their stitched edges add just the right finishing touch without taking attention away from the beautiful patterned paper.

One of my favorite things about today's collection is that these cards prove you don't always need complicated techniques to create something beautiful. Sometimes choosing gorgeous Designer Series Paper, adding a meaningful sentiment, and layering everything together thoughtfully creates the most elegant results.

These two handmade cards are some of my favorites from this week's I Made This Myself Monday collection. Created with the breathtaking Beautiful Gallery 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, they showcase how elegant artwork and heartfelt sentiments can come together to bring comfort during life's most difficult moments.

The soft florals, peaceful landscapes, and calming color palette create the perfect backdrop for the encouraging messages from the Prayers & Promises Stamp Set. Finished with the timeless Stylish Shapes Dies and a few simple embellishments, these cards are a beautiful reminder that sometimes the smallest gesture can mean the most. 💕

This elegant handmade card is another favorite from my I Made This Myself Monday collection featuring the beautiful Beautiful Gallery 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!

I love how the rich, vintage-inspired patterned paper pairs beautifully with layered die-cut foliage from the Stylish Shapes Dies, creating depth and texture while keeping the design soft and sophisticated. The "Sending Love" sentiment on the front opens to reveal a touching message inside:

"Keeping you in my thoughts, holding you in my heart, remembering you in my prayers." 💕

Whether you're sending comfort during a difficult season, offering encouragement, or simply reminding someone they're not alone, a handmade card can be a meaningful expression of love and support.

One of the things I love most about cardmaking is creating cards that remind someone they don't have to walk through life's difficult moments alone. These two handmade designs feature the stunning Beautiful Gallery 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, paired with the heartfelt Prayers & Promises Stamp Set and elegant die-cut details.

The peaceful landscape card speaks of hope and comfort, while the bold floral design gently reminds someone, "I'm Here for You." Sometimes those simple words are exactly what someone needs to hear. 💕

This double-page scrapbook layout using the Painterly Pears Suite Collection from Stampin’ Up! might be one of my favorites yet.

That bold yellow strip across the top makes the “GROWS love” title pop, 💛 and I absolutely love how the vintage pear Designer Series Paper creates such a rich, layered background. Add in the Mossy Meadow mats, gold trim bows 🌿, and those low-profile sparkle dots ✨ and it just feels elegant and warm.

I designed this to hold multiple photos while still keeping the embellishments dimensional and eye-catching. The layered pears and soft blossoms add just the right amount of movement without overwhelming your pictures.
