This was a fun layout to do.

I chose our 10 favorite places to go as a family:

1 - The Henry Vilas Zoo here in Madison every summer. It is a really GOOD zoo and FREE.

2 - Kakabeka Falls in Ontario, Canada with our family every June

3 - The Turtle Lake Fair every July

4 - The Wilderness Resort with our friends every November

5 - Door County with our neighbors every August

6 - Madison Mallards Baseball Games every summer

7 - Eau Claire Children's Museum

8 - Great Grandpa Howie's Cabin every summer

9 - Mall of America's Nickelodeon Theme Park

10 - Hanging out on Mammoth Circle with our neighbors

I loved that we used the spray pen again.

I always forget to pull that awesome tool out of my stash.

This time we used an overlay from the Cricut Artbooking Cartridge as a mask and spritzed around it to give the sun ray effect.

COOL.

Tips & Techniques for This Layout:

* Use a Cricut overlay as a mask and spritz with re-inker for a background that doesn't overpower the page

* Stay with a theme from two specified keys to create an easy and beautiful layout

* Use a Cricut photo mat as accent piece

* Offset a layered border for added dimension

* Add freehand borders to add detail

* Back number shape with different cardstock to personalize

* Use letter stickers from the My Crush Best Day Ever assortment for extra detail
