One of my favorite things about Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin kits is discovering ways to stretch the supplies beyond the original projects.
This month's Celebrate Spring Paper Pumpkin Kit is filled with adorable Easter baskets, sweet bunnies, spring flowers, pastel colors, and cheerful sentiments. While the kit was designed to create nine beautiful cards, I challenged myself to see how far the supplies could go.
As always, I created one of each of the three card designs exactly as intended. Then I used the remaining card bases, die cuts, embellishments, baker's twine, and printed pieces to create coordinating scrapbook layouts.
The result was:
🌷 Three handmade spring cards
🐰 One Easter-themed double-page scrapbook layout perfect for documenting egg hunts, family gatherings, church events, or Easter morning memories
📸 One coordinating single-page layout designed to showcase favorite spring photos
The soft color palette of Balmy Blue, Lemon Lolly, Pretty in Pink, Peach Pie, Crumb Cake, and Shy Shamrock worked beautifully for both card making and scrapbooking.

🌷🐰 Celebrate Spring Paper Pumpkin – Card Collection 🐰🌷
One of the things I love most about Paper Pumpkin is that everything coordinates beautifully right out of the box.
This month's Celebrate Spring Paper Pumpkin Kit features sweet Easter bunnies, spring flowers, pastel eggs, and cheerful sentiments that are perfect for celebrating the season.
For these cards, I created one of each of the three original designs included in the kit:
🐰 A sweet bunny Easter card
🌷 A cheerful spring greeting card
🥚 An adorable Easter basket card
The soft spring color palette of Balmy Blue, Lemon Lolly, Pretty in Pink, Peach Pie, Crumb Cake, and Shy Shamrock makes these cards perfect for Easter, spring birthdays, thinking of you cards, and sending a little sunshine to someone's mailbox.
And the best part? These three cards were just the beginning. Stay tuned because I also used the remaining kit supplies to create coordinating scrapbook layouts that are perfect for preserving your Easter and spring memories.
🐰🌷 Celebrate Spring Paper Pumpkin Alternative Project – Double-Page Easter Layout 🌷🐰
One of my favorite things about Paper Pumpkin is finding ways to stretch the supplies beyond the original projects.
After creating the three cards from the Celebrate Spring Paper Pumpkin Kit, I used the remaining pieces to design this sweet double-page Easter scrapbook layout that's perfect for documenting all your spring memories.
🥚 Easter egg hunts
🐰 Photos with the Easter Bunny
🌷 Family gatherings
📸 Easter baskets and morning surprises
💗 Springtime celebrations
I love how the soft spring colors, floral accents, bunny imagery, and Easter sentiments come together to create a layout that's festive without overwhelming your photos.
The left page features plenty of room for a favorite focal photo along with additional snapshots, while the right page provides space for even more memories and journaling. Together they create a coordinated two-page spread that can easily hold photos from an entire Easter celebration.
And the best part? Many of the embellishments came directly from leftover Paper Pumpkin pieces. It's a wonderful reminder that your kits can be used for so much more than cards.
🐰🌷 Celebrate Spring Paper Pumpkin Alternative Project – Single-Page Easter Layout 🌷🐰
Who says Paper Pumpkin is just for cards?
After creating the three original Celebrate Spring Paper Pumpkin cards, I challenged myself to use the remaining supplies to create scrapbook layouts . . . and this adorable single-page Easter layout might be one of my favorite projects from the kit.
🐰 Sweet bunny accents
🥚 Pastel Easter eggs
🌷 Soft spring florals
💗 Coordinating sentiments and embellishments
This page is perfect for showcasing a favorite Easter photo, spring portrait, Easter basket reveal, egg hunt memory, or any special springtime moment. I love how the bunny peeking out of the basket creates a beautiful focal point while the layered papers and floral elements add just the right amount of detail without taking attention away from the photo.
One of the things I enjoy most about Paper Pumpkin is finding creative ways to stretch the kit supplies. With just a little cardstock and a few additional supplies from my stash, leftover card-making pieces became a scrapbook page ready to preserve treasured memories.
If you're a scrapbooker who has been overlooking Paper Pumpkin, I hope this inspires you to look at your kits in a whole new way.
If you have Paper Pumpkin kits sitting on your shelf, I encourage you to look beyond the cards. Those leftover supplies can become scrapbook pages, mini albums, gift tags, pocket pages, and so much more.
The Celebrate Spring kit and refill coordinate beautifully with the Easter Joy Suite Collection, making it easy to expand your projects even further.
