Roxybonds Scrappers Close To My Heart Team Pear & Partridge Blog Hop!!

Welcome to the Roxybonds Scrappers Team Blog Hop.

We will be featuring artwork from the Pear & Partridge Paper Pack (X7162B).

If you have come here from Sharondayln's blog, then you are on the right path.  Your next stop will be Denise's blog.

Today I've created this super cute bag using the Cricut Artiste Cartridge.

Using Kraft Cardstock (Z1375) create the bag:
* Select the Accent 4 feature from page 56 of the Handbook, press Shift, and cut at 4" < H >.
* Follow page 63 of the Assembly Instruction Booklet for assembly and gluing instructions.

Using the Pear & Partridge Paper Packet (X7162B) create the accent piece:
* Cut 3 3/4" x 3 1/4" for the accent piece.

Using Chocolate Ink (Z2111) and a segment of the Round Sponge (Z697):
* Ink the edges of the Kraft Cardstock Bag and Pear & Partridge Paper.

Using Colonial White Cardstock (1388) create the tag:
* Select the Accent 4 feature from page 79 of the Handbook, press Shift, and cut at  1 3/4" < HoHoHo >.

* Stamp the A Holiday Treat image on Colonial White Cardstock using Olive Ink (Z2137).

Using Kraft Cardstock create the tag base:
* Select the Accent 4 feature from page 79 of the Handbook, press Shift, and cut at 2" < HoHoHo >.

Attach the Red Glitter Gems from the Workshops on the Go Pear & Partridge Cardmaking Kit (G1043) to the tag and bag.

Attach the tag to the bag using the Cranberry Color Baker's Twine from the Harvest Assortment (Z1751).

The red and white poinsetta and snowflake brad in the bottom right corner are from the retired Mistletoe Embellishment Set.

The red ribbon, to keep the bag closed, is from my stash.

I've also created this super cute card using the Cricut Artiste Cartridge.

This card was cardlifted from fellow Close To My Heart Consultant Pamela O'Connor HERE!!

Using Cranberry Cardstock (1272) create the card base:
* Select the Card feature from page 40 of the Handbook, cut at 4 1/2" < 0 >.
(This measurement is the size it will be when closed.  So when it makes the cut, it will use almost the entire 12" x 12" sheet of cardstock.)

Using the Pear & Partridge Paper Packet (X7162B) create the flaps by cutting it out using the same steps as the Cranberry Cardstock.
* I cut the flaps off and then I cut the flower petals off the flaps and adhered them.

Using Chocolate Ink (Z2111) and a segment of the Round Sponge (Z697):
* Ink the edges of all the papers.

Using Kraft Cardstock (Z1375) create the tag:
* Select the Accent 4 feature from page 79 of the Handbook, press Shift, and cut at  1 3/4" < HoHoHo >.

* Stamp the A Holiday Treat image on Kraft Cardstock using Chocolate Ink (Z2111).

Using the Pear & Partridge Paper (X7162B) create the tag base:
* Select the Accent 4 feature from page 79 of the Handbook, press Shift, and cut at 2" < HoHoHo >.

Attach the Red Glitter Gems from the Workshops on the Go Pear & Partridge Cardmaking Kit (G1043) to the ag and bag.

I then used our Hook & Loop Dots (Z1805) to adhere the tag to the flower petal top.  This is to hold the card together so it can easily be removed when you open the card, and gives it a little more detail.

Here is the card open.

Using Cranberry Cardstock (Z1272) create the sentiment base:
* Select the Accent 2 feature from page 56 of the Handbookcut at 4 1/4" < H >.

Using Kraft Cardstock (Z1375) create the sentiment:
* Select the Accent 2 feature from page 56 of the Handbookcut at 4" < H >.

* Stamp the Wishing you a season... sentiment on Kraft Cardstock using Chocolate Ink (Z2111).

The Pear & Partridge Paper on the inside is what was left when I cut the flaps off to adhere to the front of the card.
